“Peter! Ray! Egon!!!!”
So, last night I had a dream in which I was shopping, on a Saturday afternoon, in my local Virgin Megastore when, out of the corner of my eye, I could have sworn I saw the Ghostbusters! Being the nostalgic over-excitable child I am, I walked over and began a conversation.
Unfortunately I can’t remember a word of it but what I do remember is annoyance at how downright rude Peter Venkman (Bill Murray) was to me. Big disappointment. Dan Akroyd and Harold Ramis were more than charming though.
This all stems from a movie currently in production entitled ‘City of Ember’, which is shooting in Belfast (my hometown) at the minute, and will be starring Bill Murray as the mayor of a fictional city. That and a documentary I watched recently about UFO’s which was produced by Mr Akroyd.
